Course Description
The Functional Cardiology Mini-Residency - Enrollment closes September 18, 2026.
A six-month online program for MDs, NPs and PAs who want to bring advanced cardiovascular prevention, functional medicine, and longevity-focused care into primary care practice.
Taught by Dr. Giovanni Campanile, MD, FACC, a Harvard-trained functional cardiologist, with live clinical application sessions led by Dr. Cheng Her, MD, MS, IFMCP.

Your Faculty
Giovanni Campanile, MD, FACC
Harvard-trained functional cardiologist, board certified in cardiology, integrative medicine, and anti-aging and regenerative medicine. His research contributions include work at the National Institutes of Health and the Framingham Heart Study. He served as personal cardiologist to President George H.W. Bush and is the founder of CorAeon.
Cheng Her, MD, MS, IFMCP
Board-certified in Family Medicine and founder of Telos Functional Medicine in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Medical degree from the University of Minnesota; residency and Primary Care Research Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, along with a Master's in Population Health. Former Clinical Associate Professor. Dr. Her leads the practical application sessions, drawing on his experience building this model inside a primary care practice.
