Dr. Giovanni Campanile is a Harvard-trained cardiologist and a pioneer in the field of Functional and Longevity Cardiology. With a career spanning over two decades, he has dedicated his life to bridging the gap between cutting-edge interventional cardiology and the foundational principles of lifestyle and nutrition.
A Foundation of Clinical Excellence. Dr. Campanile is quintuple board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Integrative and Holistic Medicine, and Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. His clinical leadership is vast, having served as the Founding Director of the Dean Ornish Reversal of Heart Disease Program for Atlantic Health and leading the Integrative Nutrition and Integrative Cardiology departments at the Chambers Center for Well Being at Morristown Medical Center.
His expertise is recognized at the highest levels of medicine; he served as a cardiologist for former U.S. President George H.W. Bush and has been repeatedly named a “Top Doctor” in cardiology by New Jersey Monthly Magazine.
Research and Academic Leadership An active researcher and educator, Dr. Campanile contributed to the world-renowned Framingham Heart Study. His quest for medical innovation has led to collaborations on integrative modalities with the National Institute of Health (NIH) and prestigious institutions including Duke, Yale, and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
As an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers, he continues to shape the next generation of physicians. He has previously served as a clinical instructor at Columbia University, Mount Sinai Miami, and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
